What is a TSA I-STEP Program? 

The purpose of the I-Step Program is to provide SSHR attendees an opportunity to review operational and security procedures that guide information sharing, implementation of physical protective measures, and operational coordination among industry employees, partners, and security stakeholders in the event of a security incident. 

What is the TSA I-STEP Program’s Objectives? 

  1. Prevention - Intelligence and information sharing 
  2. Protection - Physical Protective Measures 
  3. Response – Operational Coordination 

What will be discussed in the TSA I-Step Program? 

That TSA I-STEP Program will validate processes and procedures already in place and identify areas for improvement. As you work with other stakeholders to test coordination of Prevention, Protection, and Response mission area operations, you will have the opportunity not only to evaluate your own preparedness and coordination capabilities, but also share strengths, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen working relationships with federal and industry counterparts.
