Jerad Childress is a transportation attorney and Managing Partner of Childress Law, PLLC. Jerad represents
transportation and manufacturing clients, including some of the nation’s largest motor carriers, on various regulatory compliance matters and before the many DOT agencies, including the FMCSA, NHTSA, and FAA. Jerad regularly counsels carriers and manufacturers on technological advances in the industry, including Electronic Logging Devices, and has conducted numerous third-party reviews of ELD platforms. He also serves on third party auditor teams appointed by NHTSA to oversee major auto manufacturers’ compliance with obligations under the Safety Act. Besides his law practice, Jerad is also Vice President of Trucksafe Consulting, which offers innovative DOT compliance consulting and training services to motor carriers and their drivers.
