Terri Dougherty, SHRM-CP, PHR, is an editor at J. J. Keller & Associates. She has worked with drug testing
and marijuana regulations for more than 10 years and often writes, speaks, and delivers webcasts about
the topic. She has answered hundreds of customer questions relating to workplace drug testing and
marijuana policies and enjoys staying on top of this ever-changing topic.

Grady joined WorkforceQA in 2023 following an accomplished tenure as President of Corporate Medical Services (CMS), where he served from 2012 to 2023. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the drug and alcohol testing and occupational health industry, Grady is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in regulated and non-regulated employee screening programs. His expertise spans DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, DOT physical compliance, sleep apnea management, and the design and oversight of comprehensive workplace screening programs.

Emily Crane’s time with GTA began as a summer intern in 2005, marking the start of a career driven by a passion for safety and a commitment to excellence. Over the years, Emily has seamlessly transitioned through various roles within the association, demonstrating her dedication and passion for the industry. Before joining GMTA, Emily managed a flower and interior design shop in Roswell, GA, and her own cake decorating business, where she honed her leadership skills and attention to detail.

Kim Bartholomew serves as the Assistant Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast at Burlington English. A proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, Kim spent several years at UCF working in the Campus Life division while also teaching as an adjunct professor. She joined the Burlington English family in 2013 and brings more than 13 years of experience supporting adult English learners and helping organizations empower their workforce. Based in Central Florida, she enjoys collaborating with her Burlington English team and partnering with customers throughout the Southeast.

Dan Skoczylas is a founding member of CLS Background Investigations. He also spearheads the Active Shooter Response Training for Hawkeye Active Shooter Response. Dan is a recognized authority in the background investigations, security and active shooter response training arenas and a certified Workplace Violence Prevention Specialist. Dan is the founder of the Workplace Violence Mitigation (WVM) brand and concept and the Workplace Violence Mitigation Institute. Dan is the author of “If You’re Looking for a Victim…KEEP LOOKING”, A Civilian’s Response to an Active Shooter.

Scott Cornell, CRO, Transportation, Crime & Theft Specialist, Logistiq, has been in the Transportation Insurance Industry for 25yrs recently being named to the “Top 100 Insurance Executives” list for 2025.

Prior to Logistiq Scott lead the Transportation Division at Travelers Insurance where he worked 25yrs building an innovative and industry recognized brand of quality and customer service that brought new standards to the industry.

Zoran Nikolic is the Director of Safety at XPO, bringing over 23 years of progressive leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry. He possesses extensive expertise in OSHA compliance, as well as federal, state, and local safety regulations, and is widely recognized for fostering strong safety cultures without compromising operational performance.

Shawn R. Brown has been around the trucking industry all of his life, as his grandfather is one of the founders of the parent company of Cargo Transporters, Inc. As a teenager he began duties such as clerical filing, washing trucks, and building and grounds maintenance. In 1995 he transitioned into an Operations role and shortly thereafter became one of six dispatchers managing over 50 drivers per fleet. Through the years he has accepted more duties becoming an Operations Manager overseeing Dispatch, Customer Service, and Night Operations departments at various times.
