OSHA enforcement is at unprecedented levels, with more onsite inspections, higher penalties, and a surge in six- and seven-figure citation packages—including increased use of “willful,” “repeat,” and criminal cases. OSHA is also expanding punitive programs such as the Severe Violator Enforcement Program and Instance-by-Instance citations, making the consequences of being unprepared more serious than ever.

This session will outline practical strategies to reduce enforcement risk and effectively navigate OSHA Complaints, Rapid Response Investigations, On-Site Inspections, and Citations. Attendees will learn key employer, employee, and OSHA rights during inspections; how to manage each stage of the inspection process; and best practices illustrated through real-world hypotheticals.
